I graduated from school many years ago, having spent 4 fantastic years representing my university as a Division I athlete with a degree leading to a number of different roles within management.
I spent time in sales and then directing a sales group, which led to sales training. I got more heavily involved in training, working with sales professionals and other business segment managers.
I eventually became a Human Resources Manager and then Manager of Recruiting at consumer products and health care consulting firm.
I’ve worked in various leadership roles within a number of industries, including consulting (consumer products, health care, and pet food) and hospitality, and have been involved in a start-up within digital marketing.
I’ve had the opportunity to help guide some fantastic team leaders along the way, and am privileged to work with some now, as co-writers on this site. I learn every day from people who have had a wealth of management and training experiences; they always push me to explore boundaries, gain knowledge and grow both professionally and personally, and for that I can’t thank them enough.
